In 1914 he wrote one of his most important works: the Baltā Grahmata, or "White Book". In June 2014, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of this work, Latvia dedicates a coin of 5 euro silver 925. The coin weighs 25.8 grams and has a circulation of 5,000 copies.
