The price listed above is for ONE Complete Set of 4 bearings (2 Needle bearings and 2 Bronze Oilite Bearings). If the quick change gearbox on your South Bend Lathe 9" model A or model 10k needs an overhaul, we now offer the complete bearing set here for your convenience. The two needle bearings for the tumbler gears are made by Torrington (now Koyo) model GB-88. Note that these are the precision ground version (hence the "G") and not the plain B-88 bearings that are typically found for much less. Genuine "Made in the USA" stuff. These full compliment needle bearings are the original ones used by South Bend and they cross reference to the South Bend part number PT384NK1. The other two sintered bearings are made by Oilite and are made of porous bronze which retains oil very well and reduces wear. The two bronze bearings are made to fit the Central Gear Shaft and the Screw Gear shaft and cross reference to the original South Bend part numbers PT606NK2 and PT601NK2.
