We are a family run business that has been established for over 25 years retailing in a wide range of ethnic, multicultural and smoking products which are sold to customers all over the world. We are now happy to announce that we have expanded our range to designer wear and urban wear.  We trade from our retail premises based in Leicester and we are currently growing our online presence and we now operate an online eBay shop as well as our own website where many of the products we are unable to sell on eBay can be found. Essence Gifts prides itself on offering a wide range of quality products as well as our fast and efficient service. We like to maintain good communication between ourselves and our customers and so we always welcome any questions or queries a customer may have regarding products or shipment.

Unfortunately, we only accept payment through PayPal as it is the quickest and safest way to shop on eBay. We would apreciate that you follow up with payment, if you have any problems with payment please send us an ebay message and we will try and help your through it. If you do not pay for your item after 7 days we will automacticly send an 'unpaid item request' which can effect your ebay account.

For smaller items, our standard delivery service that we use is Royal Mail 2nd class - which Royal Mail state should take 2-3 working days.

For bigger items, our standard delivery service that we use is Hermes Courier which Hermes state should take 2-3 working days.

If you pay for next day delivery items will be sent out Special delivery which should arrive next day before 1pm

Once your order has been successfully completed and we have received payment for your item, we will then dispatch your order within 24 hours (excluding weekends and bank holidays). We always aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible and pride ourselves on reaching the set delivery date. If you do not receive the item within the given time frame, please contact us through eBay messages and we will investigate any issues regarding your order.

Please allow up to 3-5 working days for delivery and please be aware that international orders may take longer depending on your location and the Royal Mail postal service.

Missing items: If items are lost in the post we will always give you a replacement or a refund and claim this back from the royal mail. All that we ask is that you give the item 15 working days to arrive. This is simply because the item is not declared as lost until that time.

We urge our customers to contact us in the unlikely event that any problems are incurred prior to any decision to leave negative feedback. We always try our best to solve any issue quickly and to the customer’s satisfaction.
If you wish to contact us regarding any issues please use Ebay’s messaging service and we will always aim to get back to you as quickly as possible.

For International orders it is the buyers responsibility to ensure that Items are not Prohibited or restricted in their country. We cannot accept any responsibility for items seized at customs. You may also be liable to pay import duty and VAT on goods sent to some countries outside of the EU
We post International orders daily, All our international items are sent airmail by Royal mail. Smaller items will be sent by standard airmail and we will not be able to provide you with tracking numbers, bigger and more expensive items will be sent with a tracking service and will be more expensive

Royal Mail Tracked
  • All our Tracking and Signature services aim to deliver to Western Europe within 2-5 working days,
  • Eastern Europe within 3-5 working days
  • Worldwide within 5-7 working days.
On the rare occasion your item has not been delivered on time please contact us using the Ebay messages. Please note that international items can take up to 21 working days to arrive and we are unable to send out replacements or give refunds until this time frame is up, this policy is Royal Mail's.
