BLACK CUMIN Seed EGYPT: the most powerful black seed
oil, derived from the seeds of the nigella sativa plant. This
nutrient-rich oil has been long used in the Middle East and South Asia as a
natural remedy for a plethora of ailments - headaches, toothaches, nasal
congestion, colds, digestive problems, hair and skin problems, allergies and
more. Black Cumin Seeds are one of the only herbs found in nature to
contain over 100 healing compounds that work together in a synergetic effect to
help promote healing capabilities in the body. This oil is exceptionally
high in antioxidants, containing thymoquinone, nigellone (a powerful
antihistamine) and beta-sitosterol. Also has antibacterial
and anti-inflammatory properties often used to fight infections and
strengthen the immune system. Well-suited for cosmetics, skin creams and
nutraceuticals. Also works great in therapeutic massage oils.
GRAPESEED OIL: grapeseed oil is heavily used
in skincare formulations for creams and lotions, and in aromatherapy. It is the
preferred carrier oil for many massage therapists because of its light,
satin-like finish. It also has some astringent qualities and is good for oily,
acne-prone skin.
HEMP SEED OIL: assists in revitalizing,
refreshing and moisturizing skin - making it firmer, clearer and more elastic,
preventing irritation and stimulating blood flow. Studies have indicated
that hemp seed oil can dramatically decrease skin dryness and alleviate itching
and irritation. Moreover, its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory
properties may protect against the aging process.
JOJOBA GOLDEN OIL: a botanical extract of the seed of
the jojoba tree (Simmondsia chinenis). Jojoba is a “wax ester” - similar
to sebum in human skin and thought to balance oil production.
It offers antibacterial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, moisturizing and
soothing properties and is easily absorbed by the skin without leaving an oily
residue.
RED RASPBERRY SEED OIL: used in cosmetic products for
its hydrating, antioxidant and lipid-barrier forming characteristics, raspberry
seed oil makes a lovely addition to facial formulations such as serums, face
oils, lotions and creams for dry, dehydrated, sensitive and mature or aging
skin types. Raspberry seed oil also serves as a luxurious addition
to lip balms and lip products, as it forms an occlusive barrier to prevent
moisture loss and protect skin from damaging elements.
ROSEHIP OIL: extremely high in essential fatty
acids and known to help treat dry, irritated and weathered skin, rosehip oil is
also suitable for treating burns, scars and stretch marks. Please note:
there are some concerns that rosehip oil can aggravate certain acne conditions.
SWEET ALMOND OIL: pressed from the dried kernels of
sweet almonds and rich in omega-9 and omega-6 fatty acids, this oil has
traditionally been used by massage therapists to enhance their client’s
experience. It also makes the skin softer and more pliable, increases
skin’s moisture level by limiting evaporation and is rich in Vitamin E and
other nutrient-rich lipids.
POMEGRANATE OIL: pomegranate seed oil has
a unique polyunsaturated acid called ‘punicic acid - an omega 5 fatty acid that
has strong anti-inflammatory powers. The pomegranate fruit is prized
for its high antioxidant content; the seed oil is the also coveted
for its antioxidant protection.
CASTOR OIL: used both internally and externally for thousands of years due to its many wonderful health benefits. Since it can strengthen the immune system, castor oil is considered a great remedy for treating hair loss, pain, yeast infections, acne, ringworm, sunburn, migraines and gastrointestinal infections.
