Rotosound strings. A true great British product, Made in the UK for 50 years.

The most popular Roundwound bass string ever. Rotosound was the first string company to produce this kind of string. Introduced in 1962 it changed the sound of the instrument instantly. The favourite string of many players including Billy Sheehan, John Paul Jones and Geddy Lee.

Nickel on steel, extra bright, unsilked so therefore less expensive than the RS series.

Available in all popular gauges and scale lengths. The steel used to produce these strings is unique, combined with a highly secretive manufacturing process.

Please also note that orders sent to Italy and Russia may take MUCH longer than eBay's estimate to be delivered and, whilst some orders do arrive within a week or two, many orders sent to these countries are not delivered for three or perhaps even four weeks! This is entirely outside our control, as we ship within one working day and once your order is in the hands of your country's Postal service, there is nothing we can do to get it to you any faster.

Please DO NOT send messages with the title "Item not received" as these open complaint cases against us and damage our seller rating! Instead please use the general "Other" heading to ask about your delivery if several weeks have passed.

Lastly, please note that when eBay asks you "Did the item arrive on or before" their estimated delivery date, it also damages our seller rating if you answer "No", so bear in mind that we always ship within two working days, so if you answer "No" because your local postal service (especially in Italy!) has taken weeks to deliver, you are punishing us, not them!

Shipping Information

For small parcels (up to around 2Kg in weight) we use Royal Mail 24 or 48 which are barcoded and traceable. For larger packages we use a courier service such as DPD. If you buy several items from us we calculate the postage and packing cost by taking the highest delivery cost first (usually the heaviest/biggest item) and then adding the cost per additional item for all the smaller items.

Unless you order a large quantity of heavy/bulky items (exceeding 20Kg) the maximum delivery charge is normally &10.00. All the delivery prices listed in Ebay for courier service are for UK mainland ONLY and does NOT include the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight or the Channel Islands.

We endeavour to despatch goods within 1 day of receiving payment in full.

We only ship on Weekdays unless it is urgent and by prior arrangement (please contact us if you require something urgently).

Our delivery costs reflect the cost of packaging materials, postage costs and transport to the Post Office. We believe our delivery charges are reasonable, if you are not happy with our delivery charges please do not make a purchase.

All purchases may be collected in person at no charge from our Margate Warehouse during normal office hours.

Returns Policy

Should you need to return your item for a refund or replacement you must return it within 14 days in an unused condition with all original packaging for a replacement or refund of the original purchase price.

Due to the Increase in Scams We now log all security numbers and security mark all high-value items. Anyone found scamming (returning items bought from other sellers) will be reported to the Police and Ebay. This will not affect genuine buyers in any way.

Items faulty within 14 days will be treated as DOA (dead on arrival) and we will replace faulty goods for a brand new replacement, all delivery costs incurred in putting right a DOA item will be covered by Worldwide Music.

After 14 days the procedure is for goods to be returned to the manufacturer for repair under the terms of warranty, who in some instances may choose to replace the item rather than repair it, this is at the discretion of the manufacturer.

You must ship the goods back to us (or direct to the manufacturer to save time) at your own expense and we will then ensure the goods are repaired or replaced and sent back to you.
