Unlike the standard rubber OEM hoses which deteriorate over time our hoses are constructed using a high quality silicone Polyester or Nomex compound. They are further reinforced with a polyester layer to provide a more rigid structure. This item replaces the Weak OEM black plastic PCV breather pipe with high Quality reinforced Silicone. You are getting a replacement silicone item for less than the OEM rubber pipe that will eventually fail again.
The Carbon Canister 4 Piece hoses are constructed from the highest grade european silicone and fabric reinforced. They can withstand geater temperatures and pressures than the original organic rubber hoses. All Carbon Canister hoses are lined with a fluorosilicone rubber compound that gives protection against any oil or oil mist that may be present. Oil will degrade and discolour unprotected silicone hoses.
