Condition Description: navy pebble weight hardcover cloth book. Front cover has gilt title lettering centered in circular gilt palm leaves. Smaller decorative gilt designs are on each side of the title. Embossed designs continue throughout the front cover. Rear cover has no gilt or embossments. Front cover has some soiling from having a leather book stacked on top of it as well as what appears to be damp-staining to the top edge (the rear board has similar damp-staining). Corners are frayed and bumped and there is some edge damage to both boards. The spine has gilt lettering, is cocked, but remains strong. Adhesive damage to upper corner of the ffep from possibly a price sticker. "Baylor" in pencil on ffep as well. Separation along the front gutter at the "Introduction" page with gauze and binding threads visible. Though fragile all pages remain attached. Pages have some soiling with finger dirt and the album does have a slight musty smell but it is not overwhelming.
