The material you need is free, because all the cards in this book have been made from the inside of used envelopes. Look at the post you receive every day, from your bank, your insurance company or your children's school and take a look at the print on the inside of the envelopes. You will find the most attractive patterns and colours, so envelopes, therefore, are worth collecting. You simply cut the paper into strips and use it to enclose the hole at the centre of the card, just like the iris of the eye encloses the pupil. The final result is always surprisingly attractive, because you in fact work on the back of the card. Your choice of paper and the combination of strips make each card original and creative.
