Thank you for visiting our store. We would like very much to be your connector provider.

Your purchase will consist of Ten (10) RFC Model 63-1SP-3280 Silver PL-259 Type straight solder connectors and Ten (10) RFC Model 63-89S (UG-176 Type) Silver Reducers for RG-8X (Mini 8), RG-59, or LMR-240, all sealed in factory packages. See our other listings for UG-175 Type reducers for RG-58 Coax. Without the reducers, this connector may be used with RG8, RG-213, RG-214, Belden 9913, Belden 8214, LMR-400 and other similar 400 series and RG8 Type coax cables.
Personal, friendly and fast shipping service is also included.

Look closely at the fit & finish of this connector. We've provided a photograph of the actual connector, not a stock, representative or generic photo or drawing.
Generic, stock or representative photos, copied from manufacturers websites, are used by others when selling inferior items, or an entirely different item.. Why would a seller not photograph the actual product he wants to sell?

I'm in the Marine Electronics Service business and always use quality components. Without exception, these are truly quality RF connectors!

Unlike Nickel plated bodies requiring more preparation, time & heating for soldering, these Silver connectors will be a quick, easy and positive soldering experience.
Additionally, a silver plated body offers less resistive coupling, and thus better power transfer with less heat, especially at higher RF-power levels.
Since Silver is one of the best conductors of electrons, and because RF energy flows in both the center tip and connector body, it follows that both a silver plated tip and silver plated body is the better way to go.

Soldering is a craft requiring proper tools including the correct solder alloy, correct flux content, correct heat and other tools. It requires proper preparation of the components to be joined and it also requires skill. Years ago, minimal soldering skills could accomplish acceptable soldering connections for RF connectors on coax.

Today, low loss coax cables such as LMR and others, use gas-injected foam technology replacing the old solid polyethylene dielectric (insulator).
This technology, while creating a superior conductor, has conversely introduced a potential problem, especially for the occasional solderer. A little too much heat applied during the soldering process, can easily result in damage to this temperature sensitive foam insulator, resulting in distortion and melting, creating a brown, tarry substance ultimately resulting in impedance characteristic changes to
the cable.
My suggestion / recommendation for all levels of soldering skills is to always use connectors with a Silver Plated body and tip, which not only greatly speeds up the soldering process helping eliminate overheating, but also enhances RF signal flow.

Mechanical: Construction consists of a 30-micron silver plated machined brass body and coupling nut, and a 5-micron never tarnishing, Gold Plated center contact tip. DuPont™ Teflon® dielectric (insulator) is used as it's the most inert of all insulator materials used in RF Connectors offering excellent permittivity, strength, and higher withstanding voltages over a wide range of frequencies and temperatures.  The premium silver and Gold plating assures a quick and positive soldering experience. We've received nice comments about this connector from many purchasers in our feedback.

Electrical: 50-Ohm impedance, variable, DC to 300-Mhz (Commonly used up to 512-Mhz range), Voltage Rating of 500V Peak. Operating temperature range is from -65C to 165C (-85F to 329F). RoHS Compliant by Directive 2002/95/EC.

Included with each purchase is the RFC data & drawing sheet with all installation information needed for correct cable fitment.
