The Viking word Mjölnir means "Crusher", and was the name of the magical hammer wielded by Thor, the son of Odin. This pendant is inspired by that mighty weapon, and by an actual artifact discovered at an archeological dig site in Kabara, a province of Scania, Sweden. So this is something that was actually worn by Viking people long ago. Included with this pendant is a 26 inch braided leather neck cord capped by silver pewter Wolf Heads which nicely hold the hammer in place. This pendant measures about 2 inches in height, and is made of silver pewter which contains no lead and no nickel. The back of the pendant is hollow in order to reduce weight and cost. Please note, this is a handmade item, not something mass-produced in a factory. Show the world your ancestry or inner Viking with this unique and beautiful treasure that will last many lifetimes.
