Wolves had great importance to many ancient cultures. Among the Celts, the wolf was a symbol of profound understanding, loyalty, intelligence, and was renowned for its communication. While in Viking / Norse mythology, the wolf was associated with victory in battle, ferocity, and was often representative of the monstrous wolf Fenrir who battles and slays Odin during Ragnarok (the end of the world). This wonderful handmade pendant pays homage to that legacy. And while this item is inspired mostly by Celtic art, it really could be used in association with either culture.

This pendant features two intertwined wolves, and measures about 1 inch in size. Overall with the decorative loop on top, it measures 1.5 inches. This pendant is made of real Sterling Silver with a standard metal purity of .925. A genuine leather neck cord is included.
