BRAND NEW modified replacement Double Sided Double Density 1.44MB PC style floppy disk drive for all the range of Atari 520 / 1040 ST / STF / STFM / STE / Mega / TT and Falcon 030 computers 

you will need to cut a tiny part of the casing to allow clearance for the eject button on most ST's (see picture below)

you will also need to "twist" the grey ribbon cable 180 degrees (ie: insert it upside down compared to your old drive)

This is normal for any replacement floppy disk drive

It will then work as your old drive did - 720k Double Sided / Double Density for standard Atari 520 / 1040 ST/ STF / STFM /STE / Mega ST's

720k and 1.44mb for Mega STE, TT and Falcon 030 as they support this
