"Newman cam shafts are one of the best camshafts available for the BMW mini They offer a large increase in both BHP and torque through out the rev range and are an essential item when wanting to increase the capability and power of your mini.
Fitting a camshaft is a very cost effective way of increasing the power of your mini, as it allows the valves to stay open much longer in-comparison to the stock cam. This allows more air / fuel to enter the cylinder resulting in an overall increase in power.
To achieve the full potential of power of the Newman camshaft we recommend that the car is re mapped. Gains such as 18 BHP can be expected from fitting a Newman camshaft."
