The original JBL woofer has been discontinued and we have found a good replacement. These are made by a manufacture right here in the USA. Yes that is right, these are not made overseas. The specs and parameters are very similar to the original. The basket size and screw holes are identical, so you do not have to modify the cabinet at all. The cone is a polypropylene cone and the surround is rubber instead of a paper cone and a foam surround, so they will last a lot longer. Rubber surrounds will also reduce cone break up and ensure low distortion.
