Kaoko Throttle Stabilizer kits are an essential product for every rider. The kit consists of a simple, ingenious and robustly designed friction nut that is integral with a special Kaoko handle bar end weight. The Kaoko bar end weight is closely matched in appearance and weight to the Original Equipment Manufacturer's (OEM) end weight. 


It is operated by gripping the throttle stabilizer between your small finger and the palm of your hand and rotating as you normally would. To disengage the throttle stabilizer, whilst rolling off the throttle, grip the throttle stabilizer between your small finger and palm of your hand. 


The main features of the Kaoko Throttle Stabilizers are ;- 

• Greatly reduces rider fatigue and strain on hand and wrist. 

• Whilst cruising, rider is able to remove hand from throttle grip, throttle opening will remain as set. 

• Very simple to operate, even with heavy winter gloves. High quality, compact and durable design, super smooth action. 

• Less wear and tear on throttle cables and linkages. Can result in reduced fuel consumption. 

• Very little maintenance is required. 

• Takes less than 5 minutes to fit. 


Fitting Instructions

  1. Completely remove the right hand side bar weight. Retain the M8 screw for fitting KAOKO kit.
  2. Insert plastic thrust washer into end of the throttle sleeve.
  3. Present the KAOKO bar weight onto the stub end and check if it will fully nest. On certain models it is necessary to hand file any excessive weld or materiel from the stub in order that the stub fits fully into the tapered recess of the KAOKO bar weight. Further tapering of the stub by hand is sometimes needed.
  4. Using M8 screw, fasten the KAOKO Cruise Control kit and firmly tighten. It is important that the driction nut is fully backed off against the body of the KAOKO unit during step 3 & 4. 
  5. Set the Grub screw to provide a little frictional resistance on thread of friction nut.

We have absolutely no control over how careful the postal service treats the items sent. We package the orders to an incredibly high standard in order to prevent damage and disappointment. All orders leave the warehouse in perfect condition.

In an ideal world these things shouldn't happen but unfortunately they do.

Returns Policy

All returns are subject to a 25% restocking and handling fee.

(25% of the gross value exc. P&P – at the prevailing price at time of purchase).

The customer must pay any and all carriage charges. This includes items showing a free postage service.

 If the item simply does not fit, bought in error, no longer required, customer changed mind - then we will refund you the item price minus £3.99 for Royal Mail tracked items and £6.99 for all DPD items.

 (e.g. Bar Ends bought for £26.89 with free postage and sent Royal Mail tracked– you would be refunded £26.89 - £3.99 = £22.90).

All returns must come back to us in a good, re-selling condition with the original packaging. This does apply for the damaged or faulty goods - we will need the original packaging back as we need to send both the item and packaging back to our suppliers.

No returns of discontinued products, unless within 14 days of purchase and agreed with us. This policy does not affect your statutory rights and does not refer to faulty goods.

We will endeavour to rectify any broken or faulty goods. Pictures should be supplied where necessary to enable us to resolve the issues in a quick and timely manner.

All returns are the responsibility of the buyer.

Postal Information

Please note that eBay’s estimated delivery on the delivery page is simply an estimate and not a definite date of arrival. If, however your order is late - please don’t hesitate to contact us. 

Royal mail /Parcel Force /Yodel/DPD delivery can vary around the country depending also on weather conditions (flooding / snow etc.)

2nd class standard post is not a 48-hour delivery - it is more likely to be 2-7 days and could even be up to - 14 days. This could be due to in-land customs check – these are internal checks done by the couriers to ensure no unauthorised substances or items are being sent through their system.

1st class standard post is not 24-hour delivery -  it is more likely to be 1-4 days and could even be up to - 14 days.

A missing item isn’t classed as missing until 14 days has passed.... this is legally when the post office regards a parcel as lost / stolen.

We will then make a claim for any parcel that fails to arrive - the customer can choose to have either a refund or replacement order.
