Set of 10 rings for two cylinder John Deere model A with all 3/16" compression" ring grooves and with 5/16" oil grooves.  Fits Cyclone styled tractors with starter on the bottom.   8 compression rings and 2 oil rings.   Check your pistons to see if you need standard 5 1/2", plus 0.045" over, 0.090" over, or 0.125"  diameter over size before you order.    If you prefer a heavy duty chrome compression ring for the top groove5 1.2" STD set  Please email me before bidding and I can supply that for the top groove at no extra charge.


This first quality made in USA Piston Ring set for 2 cylinder engines includes piston rings for both cylinders.

This set fits the same as the Hastings set # 7731.   This set uses all cast iron rings for a fast break in time and minimal cylinder wear.

Be sure to check your bore diameter and ring widths in your ring pack before ordering.  

If you have a styled tractor with a bottom starter these rings are correct.

If your serial number is 584000 or higher these rings should be correct.

If all of the compression rings on each piston are 3/16" wide and the oil rings are 5/16" wide this is the correct set.

If your serial number is 41000 to 583999 see below.

If you have the starter on the top you have a unstyled or early styled A and need the other ring set.

If the compression rings are all the same width you need the early ring set listed here on Ebay under another auction.
