The T11G3/SF is recessed for concrete or screed infill. It has a 5 tonne gross plated weight load bearing capacity, making it suitable for pedestrian areas. This cover has built-in lifting keys and a factory fitted rubber sealing gasket to prevent unwanted odours.
Sealed and locking manhole covers are the new equivalent to double sealed. As per the Building Regulations 2000, internal manhole covers have to be air tight but a single or double seal is not specified. All of our recessed T-Range covers feature a rubber gasket seal and a screw-locking function.
Common applications for sealed and locking covers are internal rooms, tiled floors, patios, playgrounds and suchlike. In many circumstances, and especially high end properties, a decorative finish of brass, aluminium or stainless steel is preferred; let us know and we can quote for this.

This cover meets the FACTA standards 7.0, 7.2, 7.2.1, 7.2.3 and 7.3.3, as well as mild steel material grade according to BS EN 1449:1991/EN10025, and galvanised standards to BS EN 1461:1999.
