The CD 450SR/46SL is recessed for concrete or screed infill. It has a 5 tonne gross plated weight load bearing capacity, making it suitable for pedestrian areas. This cover has built-in lifting keys. The CD 450SR/46SL fits square or round chambers.
Sealed and locking manhole covers are the new equivalent to double sealed. As per the Building Regulations 2000, internal manhole covers have to be air tight but a single or double seal is not specified. All of our recessed T-Range covers feature a rubber gasket seal and a screw-locking function.
Common applications for sealed and locking covers are internal rooms, tiled floors, patios, playgrounds and suchlike. In many circumstances, and especially high end properties, a decorative finish of brass, aluminium or stainless steel is preferred; let us know and we can quote for this.

This cover meets the FACTA standards 7.0, 7.2, 7.2.1, 7.2.3 and 7.3.3, as well as mild steel material grade according to BS EN 1449:1991/EN10025, and galvanised standards to BS EN 1461:1999. Polypropylene Grade AP9.
