This listing is for DIY install Reflective One Way Mirror Glass Window Film sold by the metre. All our window films are self-adhesive film, you can use it in your homes, cars , shops, offices and building windows . The film is a reflective film which allows viewing on one side ‘darker side’, reducing the sun glare and reducing the solar rays, acting as a mirror effect on the lighter side ‘sun side’.

The film will give you privacy during the daytime, please note though that the film works in reverse at night-time. The film is very easy to install.  The film works by reflecting the brighter side so is great for external facing glazing where the sunlight is usually brighter than the artificial light inside.

The side that you want to be able to see through needs to be at least 3:1 brighter than the room you don't want people to be able to see into. All reflective one-way glass films work this way.

You must ensure all windows are covered for the best effect, we also recommend using blinds or curtains at night if its very dark outside and you have lights on inside.

New True One Way - An Active Exclusive Product, True One Way Mirror Vision, is an upgraded version, of our best-selling One Way Mirror Silver Window Film, improved one way effect at lower light ratios and elimination of internal mirror effect when light outside is dark.

True One Way Window Film was designed to offer the favored One Way Reflection and viewing at a much lower light ratio and needs only a 2:1 light ratio to give a One-Way effect. One Way Mirror viewing is actually a lighting trick, it's usually achievable on our regular Silver Window Film but needs a higher ratio. This new product still works on the same principal but now only needs a 2:1 ratio to work. Thus it can be more effective in situations where the light in-balance was not quite enough to achieve this effect, like internal partitions, or windows that don’t get much sunlight. The film consists of a twin lamination of both our Mirror Silver One Way and a Dark Blue Lining tint, this combination offers optimal performance for True One Way Vision, this can also eliminate the internal reflection when its dark outside at night and the lights are on internally.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS

Tools:

- knife
- Spray bottle containing water with a few drops of washing up liquid ‘Slip Solution’
- Squeegee

Method:

1) Thoroughly clean the window the film will be applied to.
2) Cut your film to size of the window, adding an extra 2cm to the width and height.
3) Remove the clear lining film from back of the window film and spray the adhesive back of the film, as well as your fingers, with the Slip Solution. Attach a piece of sticky tape to either side of the film at one corner and peel them apart.
4) Spray the glass with the Slip Solution.
5) Apply the adhesive side of the film onto the glass and slide into position.
6) Spray the face of the film with the Slip Solution and using a squeegee, push out all the soapy water from behind the film
7) Trim off any excess film using the knife
