5 Tobacco Cigarettes Stamps, different series, lot #23

Here up for sale is a set of 5 assorted tobacco stamps dating from 1883 to 1910, all different.  Starting from the top row, the first three are marked 'act of March 3rd, 1883' at the bottom.  The first two are all marked 'series of 1883' at the top, and the third is marked either 'series of 1883' or possibly 1893 at the top.  The surcharge ink on the first stamp is sideways in black and is hard to read, but contains '1893' on the bottom line.  The surcharge ink on the second stamp states 'Manf 417, 28th District, New York'.  The surcharge ink on the third stamp is in red and reads 'A. T.  Co., Factory No. 30,  2d Dist., N.Y., December 1, 1896.'

In the second row the next stamp printed in red is marked 'act of July 24, 1897' at the bottom, and stamp marked 'series of 1898' at the top.  The surcharge ink in red reads 'A. T. Co.,' 'Factory No. 30,' '2d Dist., N.Y.', and 'March 1, 1899'.  The last stamp is marked 'ACT OF AUG.5, , 1909' at the bottom, and marked 'series of 1910', near the top.  The surcharge ink sideways is in black and reads 'P. Lorillard Co. Factory No. 21, 5th Dist. of N.J.', with the last line unreadable.  Condition on the stamps is used with a little waviness on some, and they look good, as shown in the pictures.
