Fargo 84051 Color Ribbon Details
Genuine Fargo 84051 YMCK color ribbons are used to print single-sided full-color cards with black resin text and barcodes over the entire card.
On the front side of the card:
- Y - yellow panel
- M - magenta panel
- C - cyan panel
- K - black resin panel
Fargo card printers require specialized Fargo ribbons to function properly. To maximize printed card quality and printer durability, use only genuine Fargo 84051 YMCK ribbons.
Fargo 84051 ribbon kits include a cleaning roller to ensure optimal daily printing. Fargo recommends cleaning your printer after each ribbon change.

Fargo 84053 Retransfer Film Details
Genuine Fargo HDP 84053 retransfer film is required when printing cards with a reverse transfer Fargo printer.
Fargo HDP retransfer printers print your card image to the underside of the Fargo 84053 film, which is then applied to the surface of the card. The card image is 'sandwiched' between the retransfer film and the card.
To maintain the warranty on your Fargo card printer, optimize the use of your printer, and maximize the quality of your printed cards, use only genuine Fargo 84053 HDP retransfer film ribbons.

High coercivity mag stripe cards are ideal for applications where the cards will be frequently swiped or need to have a long life, such as access control and/or time and attendance cards.
HiCo mag stripe cards store information more securely than low coercivity magnetic stripe cards because of the higher level of magnetic energy required to encode them.
This also makes information on high coercivity mag stripe cards harder to erase and more resistant to damage from most magnets or magnetic fields. These cards are designed for use in direct-to-card printers with encoding capabilities.
High coercivity cards can generally be identified by a black magnetic stripe; where as the mag stripe on low coercivity cards is generally brown.
High coercivity mag stripe cards are graphic quality and are the standard, most commonly used plastic card size, measuring 3.375'' x 2.125'' (size of a credit card) and 30 mil thick.
HiCo cards are packaged in five shrink-wrapped packs of 100, for a total of 500 blank ID cards, and are vision inspected to ensure quality.

Returns on Software or Ribbons packages are accepted as long as the box where it was shipped is not open. Software or Ribbon that was opened and installed will not be accepted.
