PRESENTING: Retro PYRAMID TABLE LAMP + PLASTIC SHADE Salmon Pink and Black Vintage Lighting

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Extremely unusual lamp which would be suitable for any room from living to dining to bed. The base is black ceramic in an elongated pyramid shape. The shade is a salmon colour - kind of an orangy pink. It is made up of multiple pieces of square plastic which have been folded on the diagonal then thread onto a frame. Obviously, being plastic, not many of these shades have survived, especially in this kind of state. In overall good condition with signs of wear and marks commensurate with age. Please study the photographs carefully, using the zoom function, as they form part of the description. Thanks for looking and, if you have any questions, fire away!

MEASUREMENTS: Approx 47cm tall.

    About our descriptions
We never want anyone to be disappointed with their purchase, so we go out of our way to describe the items we sell accurately and fairly. As certain things are subjective, we tend to prefer a "say what we see" approach to the description and, if we are unsure of anything, we will make that clear. We'll always try to point out faults but, not being experts on everything, we may miss something - this is why we take a lot of photos so that you, the buyer, can make an informed decision about your intended purchase. If you spot an error in our listings, please do let us know. Information helps us get better and we'd never take offence by someone more knowledgeable getting in touch. If we state an item to be from an era (ie "Victorian"), this will be a researched decision and we will be certain that we are correct. If we aren't entirely certain, we would use quantifiers such as "Victorian-like". If we state a specific year (ie "1851"), that will be a certain decision. If we state a timespan (ie "1850-1860") that would be a researched estimate. Likewise with materials used (ie "Silver Plate" if stamped vs "Like Silver Plate or White Metal" if not stamped).

    What is QUIRKABILIA?
It is a term I coined for my own eclectic tastes. Be it Victorian antiques, 70s kitsch, 50s Danish or 20s Deco, I love it all and - somehow - manage to make it work together. The one thing all my items had in common was that they were quirky - and I felt that was the thing that united them so they didn't clash on display. It dawned on me that this type of collecting - something that isn't unique to me - deserved it's own monicker. So I combined "quirky memorabilia" to come up with "Quirkabilia".  Please follow us, add to favourites, find us on Facebook and bookmark quirkabilia dot com.

Please examine the photographs carefully. We upload multiple images so do view them all using the zoom function to take a detailed look. Most of our items are true vintage or antique, so could show signs of age and, occasionally, damage. Whilst we do our best to notice flaws and mention them above, the images make up part of our description. If there is anything you are unsure about, or if you want further photos, please ask for them. Customer satisfaction is our number one priority: we want you to be happy so please ask before you buy as we are unable to accept returns.
