It is recommended for this type of tank pad to clean the tank carefully, apply the pad to the tank first and then carefully remove the protective top layer once installation finished. Take the backing paper off only when ready to stick it on - otherwise the glue may dry out. In case of any issues you need take photos and may need to return the tank pad.
