MODIFIED FOR USE WITH THE 'FAP' APP FOR PEUGEOT / CITROEN The big question your asking is why is this more
expensive than other 'similar' devices on ebay/amazon? There are many
reasons. Cheap Chinese versions don't work properly on many cars
because the makers skimp on many of the more expensive components needed
for the full range of OBD protocols. By leaving out key regulating
components the cheap versions normally burn out after a few uses. The
bluetooth module is always the cheapest one available and gives limited
range and stability. The other trick that the Chinese manufacturers use
is to boost up the revision number 1.5/2.1 etc. By far the worst version
is the 2.1, it only works on 3 protocols and is known to damage ECUs.
You must rely on the old saying 'you only get what you pay for'. Our
