Weird 1924 special delivery cover from Philadelphia PA to Canada, with a wide variety of auxiliary markings. 2 motorcycle messenger special delivery stamps, 2 cents for domestic postage, apparently forwarded from Montreal to Toronto and ultimately “not called for” and returned. There is a Montreal handstamp on the reverse as well as a Toronto machine cancel with a slogan for the Royal Winter Fair. Original letter content (between a couple, about finding a place to live) still present. Early Canada special delivery (which could be prepaid in the US starting in January 1923).
