This model represents an acryl nest combined with large and spacious outworld.
The nest is made of acrylic and it has gypsum staircase, the nest is framed with acrylic from all sides to prevent excessive moisture evaporation.
For autonomic humidify there are 2 test-tubes with outside diameter 14 mm and length 120 mm. Overall volume of sections is 250 cm3. This acrylic nest is suitable for almost all species except Atta/Acromyrmex (Leaf ants) Maximum number of colony with the average size of individuals and filling 70% of the nest:
Partitions for gradual settlement have been an integral part of all the contemporary formicariums.
Red film is well known as good protection from such an annoying factor as sunshine and many antkeepers use it anyway. But construction of the front nest wall contains protruding elements such as screw caps and handles of partitions and therefore we decided it’s a good idea to lighten this part of antkeepers – we also add red film with technological cutouts into a kit. The film is fixed in special slots in 4 places.
