English post-punk band The Passions, in concert in Paard van Troje (Trojan Horse) The Hague may 22th 1980.
From left to right, Claire Bidwell (bass guitar), Barbara Gogan (singer, guitar) and Clive Timperley. They were based in Shepherd's Bush in west London in 1978 and disbanded in 1983.
The Passions' music was grounded mainly in Barbara Gogan's voice and Clive Timperley's delicate Echoplex guitar work. They were considered one-hit wonders due to their early 1981 single "I'm in Love with a German Film Star".
This photo was taken at a package gig with The Cure at the same stage where january 12 the same year, Joy Division also had played, as part of their one and only tour abroad.

Marc Tilli graduated from art school in the 80’s as a designer. Those days, he took photos while attending gigs in the alternative music circuit in The Netherlands, followed by taking pictures of buildings, artists and designers.

This black&white photo is digitallised from the original negative of a 135mm film roll.
