This issue was released in two versions, a red one and a blue one. This is the red box version. It includes 13 leaves, the original subscription form, list of back issues, leaf with publication details, a sealed booklet Six ¼ with photographs by Kishin Shinoyama, and an unopened dress pattern. This issue is a collaboration between the editors of Visionaire and Rei Kawakubo, Designer of Comme des Garcons. Nearly all the 13 images were photographed in December 1996 and feature pieces from previous and current Comme des Garcons collections. The remaining contributors include Philip-Lorca DiCorcia, Karl Lagerfeld, Nick Knight, Mario Sorrenti, Peter Lindbergh, Paolo Roversi, Craig McDean & M/M, Inez Van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, Joe McKenna, Alexander McQueen, Martin Margiela, Andrew Richardson, Bruce Weber, Stephane Marais.

Very good contents in a very good box. Light wear to box corners and edges with a little fading. Images clean and bright with an occasional minor soil spot. Scattered light foxing to the white side of a very few of the leaves. Minor wear to the edges of the leaves. New sealed dress pattern and a new sealed Six booklet. Text in English.
