Beautiful silver case book holder with a hymn and prayer book for use on a chatelaine.

• Full clear hallmarks for A. & J. Zimmerman Ltd. Birmingham 1902.

• Engraved on the front with the Monogram MP and on the back with '7th January.1903.

• Contains two red leather books. One is The Book of Prayer. The other is Hymns Ancient and Modern. Both are in excellent condition and have gilded page edges.

• Chatelaine holder and chain in excellent condition. These are not Hallmarked.

• Some scratches on the back, the side that features the date, as seen in the photographs.
