AVOCADO BUTTER:
Avocado butter contains the antioxidant vitamins A, E and D that kill of the free radicals that age your skin. A very scientific and comforting explanation of how it works, unlike that of the synthetic emulsified oils, containing surfactants that can damage your skin, rather than help it, and other even more toxic substances. It contains a natural sunscreen that protects your skin and hair from the damaging effects of the ultraviolet radiation of the sun.
Avocado butter also contains lecithin and unsaturated fatty acids that are beneficial to your skin, and it melts at only 30C - 35C making it very easy to apply to your skin.
It can be used to moisturize dry skin ad it can also help to reduce the appearance of age spots, sometimes referred to as liver spots, caused by the oxidation of fatty deposits just under your skin. Also, it is amazing cosmetic ingredient to add to your homemade scrubs and lotions.

ALMOND BUTTER:Derived from the rain-forests of the world, the deliciously sweet fruit of the almond is full of moisture. Almonds not only nourish the body internally, but they also provide skin with sweet treats. These include moisture, and vitamins A, C and E, which work to combat free radicals. Free radicals are found in the sun's rays and air pollution.

ALOE VERA BUTTER INGREDIENTS: NATURAL ALOE VERA GEL, SHEA BUTTER AND ALOE VERA OIL. Aloe butter contains all the key properties of Aloe Vera, skin soothing and restoring with rapid re hydration properties to quickly hydrate and moisturise the skin.
Aloe vera has natural anti-inflammatory properties and naturally contains lignin which aids its ability to draw in other ingredients to this skin. This makes Aloe Butter the perfect butter to blend with essential oils intended for the skin. Natural Aloe not only sooths the skin but draws in your added oils to aid their effects

COCOA BUTTERCocoa butter comes from the cacao bean which is found inside the cocoa pod that grows on from the cacao tree. (pronounced ca-cow) The cocoa pod (pictured here) is a large gourd-shaped fruit an inside, 30 to 40 cocoa seeds are found. These seeds must be fermented in banana leaves, dried, roasted and pressed, releasing the vegetable fat from the beans, which we know as cocoa butter.

Antioxidants: Cocoa butter is high in antioxidants, which help fight off free radicals. Free radicals are causes of skin stressers and signs of aging.
Stretch Mark Reducer: Cocoa butter is widely noted to help reduce stretch marks. There are no guarantees, but it seems like the secret tip is shared with every pregnant woman in the world. And many women claimed regular use of cocoa butter was what kept their stretch marks away.
Deep Hydration: Cocoa butter is high in fatty acids and hydrates the skin deeply.
Sensitive Skin Healer: Again, no guarantees, but cocoa butter has been noted to help skin irritations such as eczema and dermatitis.

HEMP SEED BUTTER:Hemp seed butter is produced from the oil of cold pressed seeds of the Hemp plant . It provides the four essential fatty acids beneficial to the skin: LA, GLA, LNA and SDA. (One of the highest EFA contents at 76%!) Hemp seed oil is often used in body care, soaps, facial creams, lotions and sunscreens to impart moisturization, particularly for dry, damaged skin (i.e. eczema, psoriasis and mastaligia). The hemp seed butter is an excellent source of amino fatty acid and if your hair is lacking Omega-3 fatty acid, hemp seed oil can help, ultimately helping the hair become stronger and healthier.

Hemp seed oil is also one of the “driest” natural oils available, being absorbed quickly into the skin. It provides high fluidity and excellent lubricity without being greasy. The Hemp seed butter is produced using the fatty fractions and unsaponifiables (natural waxes / paraffins) which are collected during the refining process and are then blended with hydrogenated vegetable oil to produce a butter-like material suitable for use on skin and hair.

TAMANU BUTTER INGREDIENTS: ORGANIC TAMANU OIL AND SHEA BUTTER.

Organic Tamanu Butter is commonly referred to as Foraha Butter. Tamanu butter is pressed from the fruits of the Calophyllum inophyllum trees native to East Africa and Southeast Asia. Organic Tamanu Butter is produced by adding a soft stearine such as Coconut, Shea or Palm Kernel oil to Tamanu oil. This process yields a moisturizing butter that is widely used in the cosmetic industry. Organic Tamanu Butter is fully refined with little odor and an off-white color. These bland physical properties allow for a versatile ingredient in the making of a broad range of skin products. No wonder the renowned Dr Oz discussed Tamanu in an episode of his show.

Excellent for Skin

Tamanu butter which is derived from Tamanu oil can treat acne and pimples very quickly. Our Organic Tamanu Butter is renowned for its skin conditioning and therapeutic properties. It has a variety of uses. Use this for making luxurious body butters for intense moisturization. It is a popular material for cosmetic manufacturers and commonly used in a number of skin creams and lotions. It is believed to promote healthy skin and has antioxidant properties due to the natural presence of Palmitic, Stearic and Oleic Acid. “Tamanu oil possesses a unique capacity to promote the formation of new tissue, thereby accelerating wound healing and the growth of healthy skin. This process is known as cicatrization.” - Chris Kilham. Though this butter is thick and rich, once it is applied to skin it is readily and completely absorbed, leaving no oily residue. The following are the important benefits of Tamanu butter.

Healing properties

According to researchers, Tamanu oil is a widely used traditional topical aid that can be used for a variety of skin irritations and diseases. In Pacific island folk medicine, Tamanu oil is applied liberally to cuts, scrapes, burns, insect bites and stings, abrasions, acne and acne scars, psoriasis, diabetic sores, anal fissures, sunburn, dry or scaly skin, blisters, eczema, herpes sores, and to reduce foot and body odor. Tamanu oil is also massaged into the skin to relieve neuralgia, rheumatism and sciatica. Tamanu oil is employed by Polynesian women for promoting healthy, clear, blemish-free skin, and is also used on babies to prevent diaper rash and skin eruptions.

JOJOBA BUTTER:

Jojoba butter contains protein, minerals, natural Tocopherol, high content of Eicosenoic acid and long chain mono-unsaturated long chain fatty acids, as well as a waxy substance similar to collagen.

Hypo-allergenic and pure, Jojoba butter is perfect for any skin type, especially those with a large molecular structure.

USES

Our Natural Jojoba butter will be a complete hit in your skincare regime as soon as you receive it

Jojoba composition is the most similar to our own sebum which is secreted by our sebaceous glands and helps to protect your skin and hair. The butter provides a mineral rich and beautiful way to apply. You can also use it in your own blends of hair care and body-care products by applying slight heat to allow it to go to a solid and then stirring in to for example a lotion and allowing to cool.

Use Jojoba butter as a massage oil, the skin will be sensational after a massage and the masseur will enjoy the experience just as much as the person being massage.

Because Jojoba butter is truly buttery it is very easy to stir in essential oils, making wonderful body butters completely devoid of chemicals.

MONOI BUTTER:

Monoi Butter is a soft, velvety butter containing the essence of the tropical Tiare flower, famous for its aromatherapy action. The Tiare flower is well known in Polynesia for its exotic tropical essence and use in skin and hair care. The manufacturer has combined that essence into an exclusive exotic butter blend which goes on smooth and retains the Tiare essence on the skin. The melting point of this butter is nominally 42 C, making it ideal as a butter-like balm. If combined into an emulsion for creams and lotions, Monoi Butter will add moisturizing benefits as well as essential aroma aspects to the finished product.

Monoi Butter exhibits excellent spreadability on the skin, making it ideal as a massage butter or carrier for treatment products. It adds moisturizing attributes to creams and lotions and bar soaps. May be used in cosmetics, toiletries, soaps & balms, hair care and sun care preparations.

SHEA BUTTER UNREFINED-YELLOW

Shea Butter Benefits

  • Moisturizing: The concentration of natural vitamins and fatty acids in Shea butter makes it incredibly nourishing and moisturizing for skin. It is often used to remedy dry skin and to help protect the skin’s natural oils.
  • Reduces Inflammation: A 2010 study found that due to its cinnamic acid and other natural properties, shea butter was anti-inflammatory.  One compound in particular, lupeol cinnamate, was found to reduce skin inflammation and even potentially help avoid skin mutations. This also makes it beneficial for some people with acne.
  • Skin Smoothing: Shea butter aids in the skin’s natural collagen production and contains oleic, stearic, palmitic and linolenic acids that protect and nourish the skin to prevent drying. With long term use, many people report skin softening and strengthening as well as wrinkle reduction.

SHEA BUTTER REFINED-WHITE

The yellow and white shea butter are from the same Karite Tree but are processed differently.

Refined Shea Butter - cleaned, bleached, and deorderized - can not be used in cold process soap but can is usually added to cosmetics such as lotions and creams.
Unrefined Shea Butter - as it is smells nutty and is off whitish, can be used in cosmetics and cold process soap.

MANGO BUTTER:

Mango butter is extracted from the kernels of the Mango tree which typically grow in the tropics, where they grow into very large trees.

USES

Mango butter shares a lot of the same uses as Shea and Cocoa butter, however the fatty acid profile varies slightly with an enhanced level of anti-oxidants and vitamins.

THIS MAKES MANGO BUTTER SUITABLE FOR

  • Bodycare products
  • Natural Soap
  • Lotions and Massage Creams
  • Hair Products

As with our other butters, use directly on the skin as a replacement to massage oils for a truly luxurious experience, which provides a slower slip rate than traditional oils and deeply nourishes the skin.

The lighter nature of Mango butter makes it a popular choice for neck, facial and foot areas, where Shea and Cocoa butters can be a little too heavy. Alternatively why not combine your Shea and Mango Butters where the fatty acid profiles combine to produce skin nourishing and replenishing creams.
