I designed this label in SolidWorks and Photoshop. I had a custom punch made for the center hole so it would fit nicely over the center protrusion on the meter dial. I then carefully cut out the outer shape under magnification. I have done everything, except apply the label to your meter!
This is very easy to install. I will include detailed instructions and if, for some reason you ruin your label when applying it for the first time, send me a photo of your goof-up and I will send you a one-time replacement for free! Because the label is made from vinyl there is a good chance you can remove it without damage and reapply it. Because it is vinyl, it can easily be removed.
WATER-PROOF!
Over the last few months I have tried various ways to make the label more water-resistant. Various clear sprays would actually cause the ink to dissolve and smear. Finally I hit on the right combo and not only is the label more water resistant, it is now water-proof! The label was attached to the inside of a plastic bag and filled with water to sit overnight. After soaking overnight the bag was emptied of the water it contained, cut open and dried. There was no bleeding seen on the label! SEE THE PHOTOS!
When shipped in the United States I use the USPS (US Post Office) and 1st Class Package WITH tracking.
For
International orders the costs will vary due to the country being delivered to
and I have no control over that. These will be sent as a US First
Class Package and, depending on the country (I have no control over how the
shipping decisions are made by the receiving country) the cost varies. There is
limited tracking available with an US First Class Package. Please allow up to
four weeks for delivery. If, after four weeks, you had not yet received your
purchase then send me a message.
Certainly, these can be
shipped in an envelope, with no protection and tracking. The problem is that
too many have been "lost" in the mail. If you insist on taking the chance you can, but you must add
the following message shown below to your order.
"I understand there is a chance of the order getting lost or damaged when using a standard first class “Forever“ stamp and that there is no tracking available. I also understand that I will not get a refund or replacement.”
