GREAT BRITAIN COIN COLLECTING HUNT • 50P INFORMATION LEAFLET WITH CHART

Do you want to know which is the rarest 50p?  This coin chart lists the rarest to the most ubiquitous of the 50p coins, so you can see which are the most sought after or valuable coins available.

This leaflet is a 2019 up-to-date version of a full and complete list of 50 pence pieces (but does not include the larger sized 30mm coins, which were replaced in 1997 by the 27.3mm current versions).

The colour-coded chart on the inside of the leaflet contains mintage figures for all of the coins (except for the 2019 coins which are currently or soon-to-be in circulation).  The Beatrix Potter coins, which are frequently sought after by collectors, are listed with their up-to-date mintage figures and this includes the recent four coins produced in 2018: Peter Rabbit (with radishes), Flopsy Bunny, Mrs. Tittlemouse and The Tailor of Gloucester. There are also some clear photographs to show you the new coins you can look for and some basic information about the new designs to keep an eye out for in 2019/2020.

All information has been collated via The Royal Mint website and is believed correct at the time of going to print.  This is my own leaflet, with a design I created and with information found on the website at The Royal Mint. However, there may be other coins issued throughout the year, which were not announced prior to this leaflet going to print.

The leaflet is professionally printed on quality paper and will be posted out by Royal Mail 2nd class.  The price may seem quite high for a ‘printed piece of paper’, but the price reflects free postage to the buyer.  This cost also reflects the considerable amount of time I have spent collating and designing the leaflet, the printing costs I have to pay to produce the leaflet, as well as a PayPal charge for each leaflet sold (amounting to approximately 35p each) and a monthly Ebay charge for subsequent profits made.

Please note: There are currently four Royal Shield coins that were produced and never introduced into general circulation; these are: 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2016.  The ones that do exist (and they are rare and hard to find) are ones that were produced for gift coin sets, which might have been split and then subsequently got into circulation.  Because they were not intended for general circulation, they DO NOT appear on the 50p pence chart.

• This leaflet DOES NOT feature coins issued and circulated in Jersey, Guernsey, the Isle of Man etc.

Thank you for your interest in my product and for taking the time to read about it.
