Featured is a George J. Stannard Signed Authentic Autographed Civil War Cancelled Check. The check is drawn on Merchants National Bank ck #110 dated 2/15/1870 for $500.00 signed by George J. Stannard. Stannard was a Brevet Major General for the Union Army. At Gettysburg, he was severly wounded in his right thigh by artillery but stayed on the battlefield. His unit was credited with repulsing Pickett's charge on 7/3/1863. PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS A SMALL TEAR IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CHECK. Authenticated by JSA and comes with their certificate of authenticity and matching hologram (Cert #T21219).
