The newest of Naked & Famous' Fall collection is the Natural Indigo Kakishibu Selvedge, an amazing dark dye denim that uses two unique natural products in its creation. The warp yarn of the denim uses a natural indigo, one of the world's oldest dyes, which creates a rich deep blue. The weft is dyed using a Japanese dye called Kakishibu, which means persimmon dye. The tannin in the persimmon fruit creates an earthy brown that has unique character.
