Each corbel can support over 250 lbs each, which makes the Sterling Corbel an incredibly strong and, most importantly, stiff support for granite, quartz, marble or any type of counter top.
The Sterling corbel is made with wall mounting holes on the 8" side or the 10" side or on both sides. It can be mounted either way, depending on your overhang and particular requirements. If you are unsure which way you would like to mount the corbel, chose holes on both sides and try it both ways.
Most solid surface counter tops like granite, quartz, stone, concrete etc. uses adhesive to attach to the corbel, so holes in the top surface are not needed. If you are supporting a fireplace mantel or shelf where screws into the underside of the mantel or shelf, holes on both side are needed. If the counter top holes are not used, it is usually hard to see the unused holes unless you bend over and look right up at them----most people would never notice there are unused holes.
The Sterling corbel is made with a 1/2" x 2" solid iron bracket with two curved 5/8" solid square bar accents that allow plenty of knee clearance compared to other designs.
The bracket measures 8" x 10" x 2".
We apply a baked-on powder coat finish to give it a durable, high-quality finish. The "No Powder Coat" corbels are raw steel and will rust if not finished.
Our hand-crafted wrought iron counter top corbels are made in our Colorado Springs shop. Constructed from solid iron, our Corbels are designed to support granite counter top overhangs, fireplace mantels, shelves or any other application where a strong and sturdy bracket is needed.

Mounting holes are countersunk for a flush installation using the heat treated Spax® wood screws that are included with each corbel. The included wall mounting screws are 3" long, providing 2" of grip into a wood stud with 1/2" drywall. If holes are requested on both sides, we include 1-1/2" long screws for the counter top side.

The Sterling corbel is in stock and ships within 24-48 hours on normal business days (Monday through Friday). If USPS is running, we are shipping.
If you include your email address when you order, I will enter it when creating the shipment so you receive a tracking number immediately by email. Otherwise, we post tracking numbers to the auction, usually within 24-48 hours after shipment.
If the color and/or hole location of the Corbel you wanted does not show up on the drop down menu, it is out of stock at the moment. BUT, PLEASE SHOOT ME A MESSAGE, OFTEN WE HAVE A NEW BATCH MADE UP AND JUST NEED TO UPDATE THE QUANTITY IN THE LISTING.
If we have none available, we can make your exact Corbel to order but it takes 14 days to make them plus shipping time. If you would like to wait this extra time, just order another color (any color other than "No Powder Coat") or hole location using "Buy It Now" and leave me a note exactly which color and hole location you want. I will respond to confirm the order.

RETURNS: 100% satisfaction guaranteed. We have been in business in Colorado Springs, CO for 27 years. If you are not satisfied with the corbels for any reason, return them within 14 days for a refund of the price of the corbels or a replacement item (your choice). Buyer pays shipping both from us to them and return shipping. Note that we must receive the returned corbels in new condition. Please pack them back up to return them with the same level of care and padding that we sent them to you. They are very heavy metal objects and unless they are properly packed, they tend to rattle around in the box until they poke through the box. No refund will be given if corbel(s) are damaged in any way.
