FAQ

Q1: Why swith to LED?
A: LEDs not only give your vehicle a clean, modern look but, with proper use, will outlast any halogen bulb and HID bulb! Low energy draw, high lumen output, and instant on/off LED technology out shines stock bulbs in every way.

Q2: How to Pick the Right Bulb Size?
A:The filter system may not be 100% accurate or up to date, if you are not sure about the size, there are some tips to check if this bulb is right for your car.
① Check Sylvania automotive lamp replacemnt guide, you can select the year, make, and model of your vehicle, then select the application you want to replace or upgrade from stock.
② Referring to vehicle owner’s manual,check your vehicle’s headlight accembly,OEN or aftermarket.
③ Referring to previous bulbs. The bulb will state the fitting arround the casing.
④ Contact us with your vehicle make/model/year via ebay message to ensure you receive everything needed for your kit!

Q3: My bulbs won't fit, help!
A: Special bulb holder may be required. See if you can take the holder from the stock bulb. If not, let us know.
The bulb size may be wrong, double check the item you received with the item you ordered.
Do you have an aftermarket lighting housing? These may not be perfectly fitted for aftermarket bulbs and will require some manual modifications.

Q4: Neither side lighting up? Both sides flicker, flash, or work inconsistantly.
A: Check the headlight fuses, and then check the ballast plugs to insure correct installation. If this doesn't work, there may be a voltage problem with the vehicle. You probably just need a relay or capacitor.

Q5: When do you need Warning Canceller?
A:Some vehicles with complex internal computers(such as Audi,BMW,Jaguar,Mercedes, etc.) might report on-dash errors or flickering on the headlights. The warning canceller fixes the dashboard warning and flickering effect.
Bulb Out Dashboard Error: On some vehicles, the dashboard will report as if you have a headlight bulb missing or burnt. It does not affect the headlights functioning, but the light on-dash will be on. The warning canceller fixes the issue.
Flickering Issue: This happens when your vehicle does not recognize the new headlights installed. When turning the headlights on, the vehicle's computer does not understand the signal back from the headlights hence thinking they are still off. This triggers the headlight flickering effect. The warning canceller solves this issue.

Q6: WARNING ABOUT POLARITY
A: Unlike halogen bulbs, LED are polarity sensitive.
BEFORE you start your LED kit installation, verify the polarity on your vehicle by simply plugging the LED bulb into your vehicle socket.
- if your light turns on, please proceed to install both bulbs onto your vehicle.
- if your light DOES NOT turn on, disconnect the bulb and flip the socket in order to reverse the polarity (this will not damage your vehicle electrical system in any way). Once you made sure the LED bulb turns on, please proceed to install both bulbs onto your vehicle.
Note: There is no convention when it comes to polarity. Different car manufactures have different polarity setup, even within the car model the polarity setup on your low beams and high beams might be different.
