This is a really amazing find - We have sold many HMV and Decca Trench models but never a Crescendo
It hasnt been disappointing either as the quality of the Crescendo is superior to most others
The best part being so much cheaper than HMV which can sell up to £475 for one of their portables
Its all original but I have fixed the speed control - An easy fix for those who need to do it themselves even
I have polished the chrome and the Leatherette
The chrome inside is in excellent condition and the latches on the outside has age related wear
The leatherette on this has a few tiny nicks which are un noticable now we have polished this up and got quite a shine back on it
The handles are usually so tacky but this has stood the test of time and is in great condition
Sounds terrific and has a crisp clear sound
It has a few gold needles in its tray which will play 10 records each
Has its original rubber feet
The felt on the turn table is original and still in good condition
The record holder in the top lid will hold about 5 Records
The character of this Gramophone is supreme to none and far better than the HMVs for personality and charm
