Strong, soil-resistant Whitman albums with blue textured leatherette cover are designed with thumb notches for easy window removal.
Adolph A. Weinman's design for the Mercury dimes has been considered one of the most beautiful designed ever used on U.S. coins.
The obverse of the coins shows a Liberty Head with wings on her cap which are meant to symbolize liberty of thought. Mercury dimes are made of 90% silver and 10% copper.
They measure 17.9 mm in diameter, and each weighs 2.50 grams. Mercury dimes were coined at the Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco Mints.
Coins, currency, and other items in photos which are not part of the description are shown as display suggestions and not included.
