Rare, original 17" wide Macey bookcase cap.  Often referred to as a "1/2 size" because it is so much narrower than the standard barrister bookase section.  It is marked on the underside as being a model #94-1/2.  It is structurally very sound, sturdy, with no repairs.  Original finish.  Sides do not have metal banding.  Top surface is in poor condition with staining, some raised veneer wrinkles and cracking.
