This jig can be used to produce a variety of fingernail grinds on various types of woodturning tools. Spindle gouges and bowl gouges can be shaped using the easily made wooden parts and the sanding disc system described in the information sheet which comes with the Fingernailer. The photographs show the grinds on a standard spindle gouge, a continental spindle gouge and a bowl gouge.
