When Tony Bennett Was Launching His Solo Recording Career, He Was Strongly Advised Not To
Imitate The Style Of Frank Sinatra.  Instead, Tony Pursued A Career As A Crooner Singing Commercial
Pop Tunes, An Area He Proved Extremely Successful In In The Days Before Rock And Roll.
Whilst Tthe Arrival Of Rock And Roll Hailed The End Of Many An Artist's Career, Tony Bennett Was Not
Among Them, For He Was Able To Adapt.

The Beat Of My Heart, His 1957 Album That Makes Up The Bulk Of This Particular Release, Found Tony
Working With An Abundance Of Jazz Artists.  In An Instant Tony Bennett Had Discovered Something Of
A Unique Sound, One He Has Continued To Mine For More Than Fifty Years.
