Dollonds 500mm f6.3 Prime Lens With T2 / M42 Mount A Dollonds 500mm prime lens with a fast f6.3 aperture. It is in pristine optical condition.
This lens takes the interchangeable T2 mount system and T2 mounts are available for many modern DSLR cameras. It is currently fitted with a M42 screw mount which itself can be adapted to modern DSLRs via the use of a further adaptor so I will leave it on.
As this is not a mirror lens, it will not suffer from out of focus 'donuts' which can afflict mirror lenses. It is a heavy lens, but is supplied with a tripod mount and it is suggested that it is used with a tripod for the best results.

A note about dust:All used lenses will have some dust in them, sometimes even new lenses. Most dust will not affect a photo because all of the image passes through all of the glass with the result that dust is 'averaged out'.
