Description: Vintage 10-Button Gustav A. Ring Intercom Telephone Ring-Master AA-214 Aluminium Bakelit

Fantastic and rare find. Only one other I can find on the internet in Norway. Made in Norway.

Gustav Alfred Ring (born October 21, 1889, died June 9, 1958) was a businessman, founder of office machine company Gustav A. Ring. He established his own company in Kristiania in 1915 for the import and sale of machines for shops, restaurants and offices. The company carried his name, Gustav A. Ring, later Gustav A. Ring System Maskiner A / S.

This is an excellent piece of history, there may not be another one like it for sale again. There are no markings I can find to determine its age, but the model number is 5, so that might give you some idea. Please feel free to contact me with any specific questions.

Buttons are listed at 0-9, T, X, plus the Red and Green buttons.

A great one-of-a-kind piece!

Condition: The phone is in great physical condition for its age. It is clean - especially inside. A little dirty around the edges of the buttons. The only blemished are the green button cover is worn off and there are a few cracks on the side of the phone itself. Both are highlighted in the pictures. I was unable to power up the phone to fully test it; however, I ran continuity checks on some of the buttons and they work just fine. Please reference all pictures available as they help describe the character of this phone.
