Okay here we go. This is something I did not want to do. But time for me is an issue. So my beloved 1970s Fender Jazz Bass project will have to go to somebody much more capable and willing to invest the love and energy to get her back to 100%. I have had this project sitting too long.

First off the body has been stripped to what it appears to be the original white primer. Could use additional work and will need additional work to get it back to being able to be painted. It will need preparation. Majority of the hard work was already done. Not by me what you see is how I've had the bass for the last 15 years. Here's what I believe is a 1970s Bass. Because I did not remove anything off the base it's hard for me to tell whether something is 100% original or replaced but you will have to ask questions and you will have to check out the photographs. If there is something wrong please notify me. I am not an expert in jazz bassist or Fender 1970s guitars. All I can say is that this is top quality. Here are the known facts. Original 1960s fender bass case. That alone will be worth the price of admission. Has wear and tear but everything functions as it should. DiMarzio 1970s pickups. Screws in Hardware appear to be old. Neck appears to be legit and has all the markings and tributes to that year line of bases. The Binding the decal and also the very cool inlays. The only thing that is questionable to me is that it does not have the screwdriver cross truss rod adjustment. I was told that could be because it was replaced or stripped out. I'm not sure. As far as the wood goes it's stunning. It has beautiful straight grain quarter-sawn wood. Project will come with to pick guards the white one fits better than the turtle shell 1. But you can figure out which one you like better. Electronics appear to be original or may be replaced with the DiMarzio pickups in the 70s.

Anyways much more than that she is probably 75% here. Will need to nurse and the neck plate. a very cool way to get into the Vintage Market on the cheap. Anyways for the reasons above please note that this is for a professional or somebody that needs a full-on restoration project. Probably something that you could probably sell for much higher once completedor maybe for the individual that wants a super customize base and will have no regrets as far as color and preference goes. Could be a second or third edition or could be used for parts and pieces whatever you decide good luck to you.

Sold as is no returns the auction will begin at a penny wherever it ends congratulations..

Please note that I have gotten a few questions in regards to the truss rod working or not. I have no idea I never turn the truss rod. I'm not sure if it will take a hex key. I have never attempted to do anything like that. I am not a repairman. Qatar has been stored in its case 4 years. Please know that you might be taking a chance on purchasing something that is a little off my description or is not on 100% percent functioning. I am being open and honest dialogue in regards to the guitar. I want this to go to somebody that can fix her. Please be somebody super handy and knowledgeable as I will not take a return. Everything is to the best of my knowledge and research.. Please know what you're buying please ask questions please.
