Cheap Chinese versions don't work properly on many cars because the
makers skimp on many of the more expensive components needed for the
full range of OBD protocols. By leaving out key regulating components
the cheap versions normally burn out after a few uses. The bluetooth
module is always the cheapest one available and gives limited range and
stability.
Some only work on 3 protocols and are known to damage ECUs. You
must rely on the old saying 'you only get what you pay for'. Our units
are specially manufactured by proscan-automotive for distribution
via a limited number of suppliers. Also it's worth noting that our adapter works on Windows and Android!
I NOW INCLUDE A VIDEO INSTALL GUIDE FOR WINDOWS AND FREE SOFTWARE FOR PC's via download link only

The Torque or similar android app can be purchased via the store for a few pounds, I would recommend 'dashcommand' by palmer, it's been a favourite of petrol heads for many years.
We supply a disk with connection guides for Windows and some free Windows software. Also installation instructions for Torque are included.
