These inks are not manufactured by Canon. All brand names and trademarks are the property of their respective holders and are used for reference only.
Widely regarded as the best choice in aftermarket ink products, Rihac Platinum Photo inks are profiled to be as close to genuine OEM Canon inks as possible. Rihac is a multi award winning brand including a winner of both the Australian and World Brand Awards 2017 for product excellence.
One of the key drawcards of their inks is that they do not use generic 'universal' profiles in their inks. Other third party inks use generic profiles where the ink is a 'universal' colour match against several or more different cartridge series used by an individual manufacture. When using a 'universal' profile you need to use a third party ICC profile to more accurately match the OEM colours with rihac inks you do not.
Note: OEM Canon cartridges use pigment ink in only the large black cartridge, which is used for printing text only. The printer switches to the smaller dye black when printing photos. Most people prefer to simply use dye black in both cartridges (when refilling, using a CISS or refillable cartridges) as dye ink has significantly less likelihood to block or damage printheads over time. The benefit of pigment ink is that they fade slower than dye inks, however, they also have a shorter shelf life due to settlement.

We conducted extensive research into Canon ink cartridge volumes and found the volume of ink in the colour and black cartridges for the 650 & 651 series. The PGI-650PGBK cartridge retails at $21.98* containing 15ml of ink and the CLI-651 colour cartridges retail at $23* each which contain 7ml of ink each. Every time you purchase a set of 6 rihac refill inks you buying the same amount of ink that is inside 6.7 x BK Cartridges and 71.4 x colour cartridges which would cost you over $1,790.00

All orders placed before 2:00 pm (AEST) on regular business days will be shipped the same day where possible (provided payment has been received). If we can beat the mail/shipping deadlines for the day, we do our best to ship orders on the day they are placed even after 2pm. On some occasions, we have literally chased the Australia Post truck down the road when a late order has come in so it could be dispatched. All orders placed on public holidays and on weekends will be shipped the next business day.
All internal Australian orders are shipped via Australia Post Regular Parcel Post unless otherwise specified/requested. Orders shipped via Australia Post eParcel Express are estimated at 1-2 business days if within the Australia Post express post network. The network operates interstate between Australia's capital cities (except Darwin) and some major centres. The Express Post network covers 80% of Australian business addresses, private addresses and post offices boxes. Delivery outside this network will receive the fastest possible delivery using existing transport links.
