1947 Vintage Tissot Wristwatch with Rare Bumper Movement and Tropical Dial.
Movement signed CHs Tissot & Fils, 17 Jewels, 1782015.
It has to be said that everything on this watch is in quite good shape considering it is 71 years old!
The watch is running (power reserve and timekeeping untested).
The sun has turned the dial into a nice tropical look.
This is the original strap and buckle. Quite dry and starting to deteriorate with age.
Hands are good shape, the hour hand has lost it's lume but is still visible within the case.
Case has wear and marks consistent with age.
The movement has small marks but is functioning fine!
The crown and winder are functioning and engaging well.
