A really nice item.

Its Older than the other two I have, its very slightly smaller than the later ones, and one of the later versions is more curved at the bottom.

No chips cracks crazing or obvious flecks and flaws

My only issue with this is that i some times struggle to get the lid off.

The jug itself has a cut out piece, like with any tea pot etc, and the lid, fits well, but has two lobes ( see pics to get what i'm on about ) so the lid needs to be lined up quite accurately before it comes out, which I suppose is a good thing, least it wont fall out

I'm  only mentioning this just in case there is the outside chance this is wrong..That the lid isnt the one that came originally.. It is after all 100 years old.

Ive examined it all over and other than this lid business  its in very good condition.
