                                  MECHANICALLY:  SSC is considered to be sharpest 50mm/1.4  Legacy manual lens made in SLR days of photography, except exclude  the Kern Makro Switar 50/1.8 for Alpa from that list.  SSC 50/1.4 It's that good, and it STILL is! Look at the flower photo shot at F:2, amazing. 
OPTICALLY:  Unscratched optics and very clear! NO = Haze,fungus,dirt,,,,,,,Great images possible for digital full frame= 50mm or APS-C =  79mm on Pro digital cameras.!
