M-1A1 Abrams Main Battle Tank At USNS Pollux Operation Desert Storm 8 x 12 Photo

Here we have an 8 x 12 photo showing soldiers coordinating the loading of an M-1A1 Abrams main battle tank aboard the rapid-response vehicle cargo ship USNS Pollux (T-AKR-290). Military equipment was being loaded onto the vessel for transportation back to Germany in the aftermath of Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. The Abrams is equipped with a mine-clearing plow. The original image dated to November 11, 1991, Saudi Arabia.
